If your bayonet has a 1908 acceptance date, it will have the royal cypher for Edward. On the other hand, if the cypher is George, the acceptance date will be 1918. Wilkinson is renowned for bad/half/light ricasso stampings, and you will not find any '07' with Edwards cypher and Georges date, or vice-versa.
