Elementary statistical methods class
For most students, Statistics concepts are generally harder to grasp than Algebra concepts. However, Elementary Statistics class is easier because it typically consists of memorizing formulas. In addition, elementary statistics is not a fundamental mathematics course compared to algebra. Instead, it is an applied mathematics course.Both classes were really important for me in (1) developing some statistical intuition and (2) just learning how to do important things that social scientists should be able to do. I took your class in the fall and Don’s class in the spring. I think it would have been better if I had taken them in the reverse order.
